The Marple Website and Friends of Memorial Park

The Marple Website will be selling their new 2009 Marple and Mellor calendar to raise funds for the "Find a Cure for Martha" campaign, whilst the Friends of the Park will be holding a tombola to raise funds to continue their improvements to Marple Memorial Park with prizes donated by the Marple Business Community.

New Horizons -

New horizons, a 70 foot narrowboat, was specially built to give disabled people the pleasure of a day in the country that most people take for granted. It has been doing this since 1981 and has given thosands of disabled people, their families and carers a lot of pleasure cruising the Macclesfield & Peak Forest Canals.We are raising money to keep the boat afloat as it takes £12,000 to run it for 1 year.
